Dawes valve, Tune and catch can install for this Common Rail Patrol
A nice little package to help promote reliability
This Patrol originally had a provent catch can fitted, the customer wanted to change that out for a HPD unit. We’ve noticed catch cans with paper filters tend to block up pretty quickly and restrict the engine from breathing. You’ll notice blue smoke out the tailpipe when this happens. Pro tip, if you notice blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, disconnect your catch can, drive around for a little and reassess
Apart from that. Anything between 100-110kW is exactly what i’m expecting to see on our dyno and this is no different. Setup at 20psi with safe fuelling. This Patrol will go the distance with more oompf

2023 4jj3 Dmax
Putting down some solid numbers after the owner carried out some exhaust work, this Dmax is really a night & day difference
These drive a lot better after a tune, a huge improvement to throttle response
Customers have also reported back they don’t hunt gears as much after a tune which i know is a common annoyance with current gen Dmax owners

Surprisingly, with the stock tune this D22 was safe to drive with the +30 injectors. With us able to dial in even more requested fuel at WOT which usually isn’t the case when it comes to fitting larger injectors
